Zoom Workplace is introducing new updates in March and April 2026 that enhance the desktop, mobile, and web experience. These updates focus on improved navigation, AI integration, and a more streamlined user interface.

Web Experience Updates (April 2, 2026)
- New streamlined homepage with quick access to meetings

Desktop Application Updates (March 23, 2026)
- Introduction of AI Companion 3.0
- Dedicated AI Companion tab
- Context-aware side panel within applications
- Improved access to AI-powered features within Zoom Workplace
Mobile App Improvements
Your mobile experience gets more powerful and easier to control:
- Unified AI Companion controls: Hosts can manage AI Companion summaries, questions, and transcripts from one convenient panel. Participants can easily request AI Companion activation and are automatically notified once it's enabled. A clear status strip shows when transcription is active.
- Refreshed mobile meeting settings: A new Appearance section brings together all video-related settings, including low-light adjustment. Appearance, virtual backgrounds, avatars, and filters are now unified in a streamlined Video & Effects settings area
Zoom Chat Improvements
- Faster and more responsive chat functionality
- Support for rich media (images, videos, enhanced messages)
- Improved collaboration experience

- March 23, 2026 → Desktop and mobile updates (requires version 7.0.0)
- April 2, 2026 → Web interface updates
How to Access the New Experience
- Update your Zoom Workplace application to version 7.0.0 or later
- For web updates:
- Use the “Try new experience” toggle (if available)
- Some features may need to be enabled by administrators
