For any application requiring single sign-on (SSO) setup, use this service form. The University of Baltimore supports multiple forms of enterprise SSO integration:
- SAML 2.0 via our Shibboleth Identity Provider (IdP)
- InCommon Federated Identity via our Shibboleth IdP
- Microsoft Entra ID SSO Integration (including OIDC)
- Active Directory / LDAP integration (on-premises applications only)
- F5 APM-based authentication (on-premises applications only)
- LTI SSO through our Learning Management System, Canvas
- EZProxy for library applications
The method used will depend on the application in question, and the final determination will be made by OTS technical staff based on the options available, the application architecture, and the population in question.
Please provide as much of the following information as possible including
- Type type of SSO the application or vendor has requested, if known
- The population of university constituents who will need to use the application via SSO. Broader categories work best (i.e. students, faculty/staff, etc)
- Documents or Links to the vendor SSO Documentation for their application
- A vendor technical or customer service contact
