Processing Student Request for Training (Workflow request)

Students may request access to optional trainings/tutorials using a TeamDynamix request form. A "workflow" is attached to that request that sends the request to the appropriate office/people. (Currently that is the Office of Student Support Services.)

The request displays all information needed to setup the student in the training platform:

  • Student's name
  • Student's email address
  • Student's netID
  • Requested training titles

  1. You’ll receive an email with the subject, You have a Workflow Step Assignment for Setup Access or Reject Request (TeamDynamix). The body will look like this:

  1. Click the Foundry Tutorial Assignment Request link. If you’re not already logged onto MyUB, it’ll prompt you for your netID and password.
  2. On this screen you get the student’s name, netID, email address, and trainings requested. This is all the information needed to create and/or assign the training to the student in EverFi.

  1. Setup the student’s access in EverFi. (Or continue with step 5 here and setup access in EverFi after approving the request—but making note of the student info.)
  2. Under the Current Workflow Step click the Setup Access or Reject Request link.
  3. On this page click the Approve Service Request button. This notifies the student that their request has been approved and it closes this request.

  4. In the next window, if you add a “comment” that will be sent in the notification to the student. Then click Save.

The request form is now closed. If you haven't done so, continue on to setup the student's access in EverFi. Click here for instructions
