University of Baltimore Website Redesign Project
The purpose of the website redesign project is to create a dynamic, engaging, intuitive public website experience for our designated audiences. The new website will support strategic enrollment growth, fundraising and overall University priorities; increase brand awareness and differentiate UBalt from its competitors; deliver comprehensive SEO and CRO strategies; segment content for internal audiences; and comply with accessibility guidelines.
UBalt is working with iFactory, a website design firm that specializes in higher education websites, to develop a new website strategy and re-design the University’s web environment at ubalt.edu. The new website aims to convey UBalt’s mission, vision, values and programs, boost audience engagement and activation, and improve user experience.
The successful redesign will result in a website that:
- Supports strategic enrollment growth across the institution that includes new and continuing student retention.
- Increases awareness of UBalt primarily among prospective students and donors
- Strengthens UBalt’s unique position in the region’s competitive higher education field and differentiates the University from its competitors
- Creates a web experience on level with leading higher education institutions
- Promote cohesion throughout all sites on the UBalt domain
- Delivers comprehensive SEO and CRO strategies
In tandem with the public website redesign, teams will also be redeveloping the MyUBalt Portal, creating a University “Information Library” intranet site, and launching our UBALT100 Centennial microsite.
