Website Redesign FAQs

When will the new site go live?

  • The website will go live on April 9, 2025.

Who is designing our new website?

  • The University selected our website design vendor, iFactory, through a competitive RFP bid process. iFactory specializes in building ADA accessible websites for higher education clients using our current CMS system, OU Campus by Modern Campus. Modern Campus will implement the iFactory designs in the CMS, perform a content migration from the old site to the new site, host the new website and provide support services.

Will this entirely replace our current website?

  • Yes. The old website will be placed in a storage archive when the new site is published.

Where will the internal content go?

  • A separate, but related, UBalt Portal project is occurring at the same time as the website redesign project. A content inventory has been conducted, which has identified which content will remain on the public-facing website and which content will be housed in the UBalt Portal and accessed via your UBalt login.

Who do I contact if I have a question about the website?

How can I request web page updates?

  • Please contact your designated website work group member. Each major area of the University has at least one person responsible for that part of the website. These individuals also have the ability to escalate requests or issues to more technical website users.
