In “URL” type: print-office.cis.ubalt.edu/[Printer Name]

**if you are adding in Law School** : cispcut.cis.ubalt.edu/[Printer Name]

Under “Name” Rename the device to whatever the user wants

Under “Use” choose the appropriate printer driver. (Download ahead of time) If only generic printing is needed, select “Generic PostScript Printer” from the dropdown menu.

After this, click “Add”

The user will be prompted to authenticate. Use “cis\[NetID]” for the username, and their corresponding password. It is recommended that you do not click the box to save the credentials until you and the user are sure that they have entered the correct credentials.

Once you are sure, click to remember the password, or else the user will have to login in every time they print.

When the user changes their password, they will have to update their Keychain. Search for the NetID under “passwords” in keychain. Make sure the user knows this.

Click through any other prompts to set up the printer.

Print a test page to test.

Map any other printers, then you’re done.
