Installing Global Protect VPN

Windows Installation

Search for “Company Portal” in the search box in the task bar and select “Apps.”

Choose Global Protect and select “Install or Reinstall.”

Wait for the download and installation to complete.

You may be asked to authenticate into the MyUBalt Portal.

Once authentication is complete, check the bottom right of your task bar for a Global Protect Icon and click on it.

You may already be connected, if not, choose connect, or disconnect to end VPN session.

Mac Installation

Access the Jamf connect menu by clicking the crooked “X” icon, then select “Get Software”

Click on “Catalog”, then “All”

Locate Global Protect and click “Install”

Click “Ok” if you get a message stating "System Extension Blocked."

Once installed, select the globe icon from the menu bar, type in “gp.ubalt.edu” and click connect

This completes the connection process
